Fuerteventura is
the most easterly of the Canary islands, and enjoys fantastic
dry weather due to be sheltered by Lanzarote in the north. The
dunes just outside of Corralejo are world famous, and
breathtaking to see. Fuerteventura also boasts some of the best
fish restaurants in the Canaries, coupled with an ambience
unparalleled elsewhere. Entertainment is fairly unintimidating,
and it has avoided creating some of the noisy holiday resorts
found on other Canary Islands. Also well known as a destination
for water-based sporting activities, many enthusiasts regularly
buy cheap airline
tickets bound to its shores and take their
holidays in Fuerteventura due to it's perfect conditions.
The main resort for Nightlife in Fuerteventura is
Corralejo, in the north of
Fuerteventura… so if you are looking for lively nights out, you
should make sure that you are staying in this resort. The bars
dotted along the coast and around the harbour are perfect for
sipping cold drinks and watching the world go by. Further into
the town, and nestled within the streets are a huge variety of
restaurants, cafes and great venue bars. The seafood available
at some of the tapas bars is of the highest quality – perfect
for fish lovers.
Puerto del Rosario is the capital of the Island, and is
massively residential. However, because of its shopping centres
and cracking restaurants – it is frequented by many visitors…
wanting more of a Spanish feel to their holiday.
Caleta de Fuste is just a short
distance away – and with its beautiful cove, surrounded by bars
and restaurants and other places to eat – it is perfect for a
family holiday.
Morro Jable down in the south is more popular with our German
friends, and enjoys some of the best weather on the Island.
Miles of golden sands decorate the coast, and there is a good
sprinkling of Morro Jable bars and
restaurants.
