The Barge Inn in Puerto del Carmen is one of our favourites, due to its friendly service, and great food. The bar is owned and run by Lisa and Ged, who also own and run the Toby Jug further along the main Avenida del Playas… right on the seafront. The Barge Inn is open 364 days of the year (except Christmas Day), from 9am until the early hours of the morning.

The Barge Inn has an extremely varied menu, with everything from cooked breakfasts, to Southern Fried Chicken wraps, and roast dinners… and constantly strives achieves a high level of customer satisfaction. The staff at The Barge Inn have been chosen especially for their high standards of customer care and attention. You can always expect a barrel of laughs at this friendly British pub, and with nightly entertainment there’s always something going on.

The entertainment starts every night at 9:30pm, and is wholesome, clean, family fun.

At The Barge inn, you can get the same cracking food deals as the Toby Jug, such as the Early Bird Menu, which is from 4pm until 7pm, and means that when you pay full price for one main meal, you get the second one half price. You can also get their menu as a take-away option, with a 10% discount. All the meals are prepared on the premises by hand – and the quality really shows through in the food. Even the fish is battered on site. The Sunday roasts are extremely popular, and terrific value at just €7.50 for adults, and €4 for the kids. The staff can also pack you a picnic for the beach – just ask for the takeaway menu.
