For good hearty food in Lanzarote,
you can’t beat a carvery – and the Restaurante “Bodega Jose”
Carvery in the Old Town, Puerto del Carmen, serves up exactly
what you are looking for. Open from 6pm until 10pm from Tuesday
to Saturday, and from 1pm until 10pm on a Sunday, this popular
Old Town Restaurant has the heartiest meals available,
guaranteed to leave you feeling happy and full. The portions
really are generous here – so make sure that belt of yours can
open another notch or two.
The friendly family carvery has been owned by Rob since 2004,
and has a good variety of carvery meats available, with of
course the potatoes, vegetables, trimmings and gravy that you
have come to expect. Estrella Galicia is the draught beer of
choice here, and your favourite beers are also available in
bottles. Strongbow, Magners, Dorada, Coronita, Smirnoff Ice,
Bacardi Breezer are all available, as well as a fine selection
of wines from all over the world, and all the spirits and soft
drinks you like.
The Old Town Carvery is situated in Avda Varadero, down in the
Old Town Harbour in Puerto del Carmen, right next to the
children’s playground.
